A Message from Sakura Private Tokyo Guide Services.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Nahoko Iwakiri, and I’m the founder of Sakura Private Tokyo Guide Services.
As a native Japanese woman who has lived in Tokyo for many years, I’ve spent my life exploring every corner of this incredible city — not just the famous landmarks, but the hidden gems only locals know.
I created this service because I know how overwhelming Tokyo can be for visitors. The language barrier, the complex train system, the cultural differences — they can make traveling stressful, even when you’re excited to explore.
That’s why I’m here. My goal is simple:
To help you experience Tokyo comfortably, safely, and in a way that feels truly personal — like having a local friend by your side.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor, traveling with kids or older family members, or simply want to go beyond the guidebooks, I’ll work with you to design a tour that fits your pace and your interests.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you the Tokyo I love — with warmth, care, and a lot of hidden stories to share.
Warm regards,
Nahoko Iwakiri
